First of all, congrats to WGT. This thread is now close to 20 pages long. By far the most successful forum I have ever seen on here. Unfortunately, it is filled with haters hating on this site.
Here is my two cents (or 2 credits):
WGT has a great thing going. Innovative site and realistic golf experiences. I have been on here for a little over a year. Unfortunately, the quality of the product seems to continue to dwindle. They used to offer real prizes for select tournaments. The value of your credits used to go further. The quality of the courses, etc...used to be better. Now this. I know you are still in BETA mode, but what's happening? Did the overseas programmers up their rates? Are california taxes strangling the feasibility of the company? It seems like WGT is doing fairly well with Ad Revenue considering the brands that are advertised on here.
What is great about WGT is that historically you gave incentive to play. The chance to win more credits back, or real prizes. Now just to piss a dollar away on a course that is not the same quality as the courses you have, doesn't have value to me. Plenty of other areas we could improve first. Congressional and Royal St. George will be awesome additions. I can leave the Mexican Resort Cartoon and use my dollar elsewhere.
I have been addicted to this site. But you can track my usage recently and it continues to dwindle for the above reasons. It is also disheartening that I've heard from WGT friends that prizes they have won in tournaments and redeemed in the Elite Collection are not being fulfilled. I worry about the future of this site. I would hope that the creators of this site would worry about its loyal customers continuing to play.
Cheers.
