    Wontonamo:

for some reason I cannot set up a free tournament using set of the week - it has to be paid?

also I tried to do ul tourney but it reverted back to even lies when I published it?

also I cannot see a way of choosing our own clubs, we can only use current set of the week clubs?

Five credit minimum so WGT gets their cut.

Uneven lies can't be used on some devices.

Only use current set of the week clubs.

    A question for Icon!

Just so we will know, on what day of the week will the sets change and what if an already existing tournament is running, how will that be affected?

    Phil

if you made a tournament, it'll use the clubs until tournament is over. as for duration, right now, i dont know. my hope once a week, maybe monday, but while we are working out some kinks, it maybe little less predictable

    Oh Icon.....

When you say this it sends shivers of terror through the hearts of all of us.

Does this mean all the other additions and updates have been predictable and reliable?

While I'm not a fan of paying credits (a greens fee if you wish) to play a course/tournament in WGT, as it's just another scheme by WGT to attempt to get players to buy credits, a neat scam, WGT gets away with in my opinion. Paying a miniscule 5 credits to see what this type of tournament is about was worth it.

In my view, the tournament is nothing special except, it's something a bit different, reminds me of how I played back in the beginning of my time here and it sort of puts all players on a  more level playing field equipment wise, so in that vein it's good.

Would not want a steady dose of this type of tournament but, once a month may be palatable in my view.

i dont mean bugs in general. but, sometimes it's hard to predict some things unless you roll them out for everyone to play. so, I am always cautiously pessimistic (not optimistic, haha). I am still waiting for my 72 hole custom CC tournament where i play 72 of the same hole - chambers #12 :)

It's good that you ended up enjoying it and that you think it might be "palatable" once a month, but I don't see the need to use the word 'scam' in the context you have employed it, neat or otherwise.

A scam is a dishonest scheme or a swindle....how does charging credits for additional features in this game constitute a scam? Sure, I wish all features and equipment were free, and I think some things (like the Course Builders) are ludicrously overpriced, but a scam? WGT show us if there's a price attached to something and it's a matter of personal choice whether or not to pay that price, so I don't see where an intention to defraud comes in to it.

    Ok tks Icon!

I really hope wgt keeps this idea going, as it's definately a refreshing change, even if it does make ya think!!!  lol Actually, I just finished playing and managed a respectable -4, so looking forward to the next set. Please keep us informed as to when and how the swap out will be once you guys get things sorted out!

An added bonus for WGT would be those players using starter clubs decide to upgrade their equipment. Sorta like renting of a set of clubs for a nickel. Not a bad deal. I'm shocked!

    That's a good point.

I also assume any player can enter, even if they haven't reached the level some of the clubs are available at?

I  haven't heard from any members about that yet but, yes, I  assume  they can.
