Easy to under-club the second shot, so mind your distance.  Best approach is a few yards left of the pin with plenty of backspin.  Hit properly, it'll roll up the bank and filter back down toward the pin.  Take care not to leave it above the hole because the putt or pitch back is treacherous.

For example, if I'm in the fairway about 205 yds out, will probably hit full power 3-iron (225 yds) with full backspin and try to land a bit left of the pin.  Calculations vary according to wind velocity and direction, of course.

    +1

Also, the thing to remember is that if you end up short in the bunker, that's not a difficult bunker shot. A flop shot from above the hole with full backspin usually works out fine.

Last night, I had a very similar shot, with a 3-iron, full backspin. Unfortunately, mine stopped just above the hole by 1 foot. Still, mine was a nice tap-in eagle. :-)

    By the way, great shot!

Yep, that's the sweet spot, very nice!

To the OP...notice the distance (193 yds) and the 10-12 mph tailwind, thus 4-iron was the perfect club.  You just have to make sure you've got enough club to clear the hazard.

My shot from similar distance required more club because of the 9-11 mph sidewind...4-iron wouldn't have reached the green.  As I recall, I aimed at the flag and the wind dropped the ball right where it needed to land.

    To turfsand and mkg335,

Excellent shots both of you.  And each was a few feet away fro staying up on that dreaded ridge.  A well executed example of risk/reward play.
