Just came back from a 2 week hiatus and notice that shots are going all over the place if you don't ding the ball. Is there any trick someone can use to re-calibrate the forgiveness/precision? Any thoughts mates? Cheers.

    Try "Clear Caches".

It ain't just you. Even some dinged shots are going all over the place.

Why not record a round and let's see these dinged wayward shots please.

    Yes, it is.

Download it. Then use it to show me (and any others interested) how to properly record our rounds and put them on You Tube.

I'd love to record my rounds if I could.

    Thanks in advance.

I've never been a tin foil hat kinda guy but I've both played and seen some utterly bewildering shots recently, way more so than I ever used to witness.

For me it's mostly shots landing way short, on holes I've played many, many times and know how hard to hit the ball.  The next few rounds may be fine, then shots start landing short or flying way long for no apparent reason.

It does simulate real life golf better though.  Well, my standard at least.

Same here. My original post does sound as if I'm stating my irons are acting like the BB and Nike 3wd's.

I've always had a shot or two per several rounds that would do something odd (come up short, go longer than normal, etc), but lately it seems I get them more often than usual.

Some of my missed dinged shots have actually come out pretty good, though. But not enough to balance it out, lol.

Seems it starts after playing 2-3 rounds. It could be the cache because I've resorted to closing browser and digging down to the flash cache and clearing it, then logging back in, and things are better.

I may need to get a better PC. 2MB ram, 320MB HD, and Windows 98 may not be cut out for this game.

I have to agree with both of you.  Since the last update things have been very inconsistent.  I clear my browser history automatically upon closing and use that browser only for WGT.

I also clear flash cache at least every 2 rounds , or more often.  It doesn't seem to make a difference.  Same symptoms as MM mentioned, shots either way long or way short.  Putts also coming up short by and inch or two, or running past by 2 to 3 feet.  I haven't changed the formula I've been using to putt for quite a while, so that makes no sense either.

    It's a mystery.

There's the answer and the solution.

I still close out my browser after every 9 holes, have done since the flash memory retention issue.

No weird shots here, only my own woeful failures.
