  how do I gain them & what are they used for?

  You have gained them already - they are cumulated earnings of the past, like your taxable income.

  And keep in mind that these are credits, not Dollars.

  Sorry to get in on this so late but what exactly are the ways we accumulate these 'career earnings'? one of my club members, was not sure how he accumulated them, he has leveled up from Hack to Amateur and thus far has only participated in our club tourneys.

  Every time you teir up or win credits in ths game you increase your (reported) Career Earnings. When they gave you the credits that's when you see them on your Credit report.

  For Example: you entered a C.C. event that offered the prize credits for the top 10 finishers, when they receive the credits their 'Career Earnings' will increase or there was another example: Recently ther was an individual that won a free trip to an up coming event,  his 'Career Earnings' sky rocketed. In most cases when you see 'Career Earning' increased the indivual has already spent them(credits).

  However, there are some that play well enough to be in a constance earning mode. Just like in the PGA in RL you don't have to be the winner of all or any of the tournements you just need to finish somewhere near the top to enjoy the benefits of 'Career Earnings'

  I don't think your club tourneys count even if there are credit prizes, there need to be at least 10 entrants for that to happen.  He has simply earned 0.50 for going from Hack to Amateur.

  Aha! Have always wondered why sometimes they were added and sometimes they were not. Thx 4 that DP!

  They count all credits you receive from the company, mainly tournament/RG prizes and those for tiering up. Challenge winnings from MP matches are not included.
