  Slor,

  apologies that two of the B Team (Gravy) matches weren't played. When you've contacted your own players twice and the opposing team players plus the club owner, there's not a lot else I could have done. It was more a combination of player circumstance and time zones/time differences that prevented it, rather than anything malicious. However, apologies once again.

  Slor should get it changed but if for some reason he misses it I marked it on the board to change when file comes back to me so no worries =) we gotcha covered ...

  I agree with Andy we had emailed players & we had done everything we could to get our players to pair up.  Our apologies on that one too!

  Lets hope round 3 will be a better result by all!

  Oh by the way Andy Good Luck with the Summer 2011 Comp!  I appreciate all the messages you sent & the assistance with pairing up players!

  Commentary...

  There were 13 teams with a score of 2, so there was one pairing of a team with 2 wins with a team with 1 win (EL Greendale v NWC Norman). This means that in Round 4, there will be either 6 or 7 teams with a perfect score of 3. So those of you with 1 loss, you still can work all the way up to the top by the end...

  As there was an odd number of teams, the lowest-ranked team in the draw (Club Integrity 2) was given a bye and 1 point towards their score (essentially a win).

  got your message on my home page. Apologies if I've got this wrong.

  I basically ranked the ten players in my club who wanted to play, using their rank and averages as a  guide. So, the top five players played for the A team and the next five for the B team.  When a player from the A  team decided they didn't want to play, I moved the top player from the B team into the slot in the A  team and recruited a new player to the B team. It just kind of made sense and seemed to be in the spirit of the game that you played your best players in the right match order. And in fact this has happened twice.

  But, the player you mention, DFDurbs, actually played in the A team for round two. Moving him out and effectively down now would seem to me to be more against the spirit of the game than with it. I'll do whatever you say I should obviously, but I need a bit of guidance here (and I've actually already confirmed line-ups with my players so it's going to be awkward to change them now)
