Im here mate, just updating the results now.

Way to come through, JG. You have been a great supporter of the league from day 1.

    FarFoo:

    Absolutely no apologies necessary Slor.

Easy to see how the RnR vs GTN game became a focus, just wanted to see if the same could be done for the other significant games.

    Good job Slor, Bootsie, BrioBrio

Don't worry, the 3 games out there will be given the time they need before issuing the final standings even if it takes another day or two. All three are potentially 1 match away from the clinching point, so it may not be a long wait!!

And if you do take the title, don't let the head-to-head loss bother you, there is a six-way tie at the top on 5 wins, so it isn't just 2 teams to consider, hence the decision at the start to break ties based on the quality of your opponents...

    FarFoo:

Lets hope these games get played.

On the one hand, forfeiting the match would give us a chance of overtaking you, depending on other results.

On the other hand declaring some kind of no result takes away virtually any chance we have.

I can't speak officially for the elite cc a team, but my personal opinion is that if at least two or three of these games don't get played, maybe declaring a draw would be the best of a bad situation.

Like I said, lets hope Ironking can pull the right strings & get these games on.

    Foo

Sorry I worked last night or would have posted this earlier... I totally agree lets get this all decided on the course and yes Electra does not want to lose on forfeits but nor do we want to win on them either... so fingers crossed that it all gets decided on the course woo hoo :)

I just wanted to say thank you to all involved for the great effort in finishing these matches... I can tell everyone is evolved on making this happen and I can't speak for all the teams biting their nails at the outcomes of the matches, but we at Electra salute you in thanks for your great sportsmanship woo hoo.....

This is so fun and so nerve racking... what a great format you picked slor it keeps all the matches so important right till the end...

What ever the outcome it has been one fun roller coaster ride woo hoo!!!

"Sorry Malinda, things are a little hazy right now (I may stay out of town), but if need be, I can always try and find wi-fi somewhere.

Hopefully something will work out for me.

    Thanks!

    Hey Malinda,

Something urgent's come up, and I've got to run out for a couple of hours.  I'll be back on after that though.  Hopefully you're still around and we can play this then?  If not, let me know what time works for you on Sunday and I'll be here.

With all due respect ironking...."a little knowledge is a dangerous thing".

So is taking one tiny piece of a conversation and using it to present the situation as other than it is.

Here's the actual message I sent to your player yesterday morning:

    Hi Malinda,

Can you let me know what time works for you this weekend to get our match played?  I'll probably be here on Saturday evening and Sunday morning.  Sunday night's a little hazy right now (I may stay out of town), but if need be, I can always find wi-fi somewhere.

Hopefully something in there works on your end?

    Thanks!

    Jeremy

If you'd like, I could post our entire message history?  I mean, if you're going to (mis-)quote me in an attempt to cover your player's ass for being lazy and not responding...the least you could do is quote me correctly.

I've been trying to get this match played since Wednesday.  I'm on right now until 11 am MST (another 2 1/2 hours)...then back at about 7pm MST.  If that doesn't work, please contact Bootsie and arrange for a  sub.

    Regards,

    Jerm.

    Hi Slor,

I do not return, the bhlz of my team (GransuperGolfManCC)

    Maybe less?

    We played against
    YBRCC Winkies
    Club Integrity
    United Nations Team Tiger
    Bery Electra `s Bombers
    Transgressional Country Club
    Deviations A (the only loss)

You could put the individual contribution (strength) for each team met?

    TY

The contribution for each team is listed as BhCt (Buchholz Contribution):
    1.0, 2.5, 2.0, 3.0, 4.0, 5.0 =  17.5

The weird one is Club Integrity as they quit the league:
    1 win, 2 loss, 3 unplayed = 1 + 2 x 0 + 3 x 0.5 = 2.5

    OK

    TY

did not consider  that of my CC  BHCT =5

I sent Bootsie the result already, but parteeegirl defeated Jerm65 -- 3 and 2.

Hopefully those bitten nails will all grow back now?  lol

Well that is it, Electra Hotties have clinched the title....

Electra Hotties cannot now go below 23.0 Bhlz points...

Goldteam Dragons are now on 23.0 Bhlz and cannot gain any more based on completed matches... and are behind on minor score differential (+6 to +9) with one of their matches to play...

Elite CC A are now on 22.5 Bhlz points and cannot gain any more as Goldteam Ninjas now lead Ruff n Rowdy 3-1...

Current Strength of Schedule as it stands - Top 3

    Goldteam Dragons - Bhlz after Round 5 = 17.5

Current opponent Electra Hotties = 5

    • Electra Buzzed Up (losing 0-5) = 0
    • YBRCC Quadlings (losing 0-3) = 0
    • Skype Players A (losing 0-3) = 0

    Current total = 23.0 (minor differential +6)

    Electra Hotties - Bhlz after Round 5 = 16.5

Current opponent Goldteam Dragons = 4.5 (4 wins + 1 bye = counts as a win in the standings, but as a draw for Bhlz points)

Previous opponents in this round giving more points:

    • NWC Norman (leading 4-1) = 1
    • Elite A (leading 5-0) = 1
    • Moondogs B (leading 2-0) = 1
    • Skype Players A (losing 0-3) = 0
    • UN Rory (losing 1-2) = 0

    Current total = 24.0  (minor differential +9)

    Elite CC A - Bhlz after Round 5 = 14.5

    Current opponent Skype CC B = 4

Previous opponents in this round giving more points:

    • Deviations B (leading 5-0) = 1
    • Electra Hotties (leading 3-1) = 1
    • Ruff n Rowdy A (losing 1-3)= 0
    • Moondogs A (leading 3-1) = 1

Can we all give a special individual mention to Ironking34 of Goldteam Dragons, who is the only player thus far to play in all his/her team's matches and win them all (5 out of 5 with one bye)...

Whyalla of YBRCC Quadlings also has a chance to do the same feat for 6 out of 6 should s/he beat 2011 US Virtual Open winner Mrenn29 today... tall order...
