    just looking at the biggest earners on the home page and i came across Rshing. over $4,000 in earnigs and from what i can see he hasn't finished a skill challenge tourney in top 100 or even entered a stroke play tourney.

    could someone fill me in on how to make that kind of earnings?

    Sweepstakes tournaments.  Finish first or last, it doesn't matter.  The winner is decided by random drawing.

    It's the retail value of whatever the prize offered was.

    Well that must be the luckiest SOB around, because his stats aren't all that great. $4000.00 in 5 months on WGT. Head to the casinos with that kinda luck brotha!!

    Yes, how? I should think that our "chief cook, and bottle washer" would show as much concern with this question as he does with identifying "cheats and sandbaggers"  with his question in another forum. The question " is it real money or credits?" is not answered by "money" nor "credits", but "retail value". What does that mean?

    For instance, here is the Grand Prize offering for the Master tier of the People Vs. The Pros tournament:

    One (1) First Prize Trip: Roundtrip economy/coach airfare for one person from a major commercial airport near winner’s residence to Raleigh/Durham International Airport (maximum value USD $500), five nights and six days accommodations at Pinehurst resort during the PVP Event from October 22-27, 2009, including eligibility enter and play** in the 2009 PVP Event (ARV: USD $3,995), and resort fee (ARV: USD $400) (one to the lowest scoring entrant, total ARV: USD $4,895 each ) ;

    So, the winner of this contest would have $4,895 show up in their earnings, as this is the estimated retail value of the prize being offered.  They'd win the trip itself, not the money.  It's just that the trip has a value attached to it, and that is what shows up in the money list.

    If you look at the earnings of the  player mentioned in the title of the thread, you'll see they are $4,895.

    LOL @ SP.....come on, you don't know by now how the prizes are awarded???  And unless you really know what the situation at hand is,  concerning the "other thread"  I wouldn't comment about what concern is being shown or not shown......A lot has been shown, but you wouldn't know.

    It is a pretty serious situation, not one to make funnies or riddles about.

    SweetiePie....  tbh, our 'chief cook, and bottle washer" has been railing against these "sweepstakes" prizes for quite some time now.

    It seems that in order to win anything of significant value here, one need only be lucky.... skill has nothing to do with it.

    Peace
