    Just finished up the first match with Alessio. Neither of us brought our A games, he had some very bad luck with the putter early. I wasn't making anything for a while either, pretty stale all around. I managed to pull out the win with some birdies on the back 9. Good game, Alessio. Off to St.Andrews for the next round.

    May Match play tournament;

    I have re-occurring issues with respect to playing MP games.  I sincerely convey my apologies to the tournament organizers.  Great job, the pace in which the matches were getting completed, was great!

    I also passed on my condolences to mrdyb, it would have been an interesting series.  I have already let him know I forfeit the match. I have also conveyed to oys at his earliest convenience to arrange MPC credit pay-off.

    Great job guys, and again my sincere apologies.

    J Wow! Congratulations Oys. I guess we have to expect these little blips on the screen every once and a while. Great job Hans. It’s tough when you put the WORK – TIME – and DEDICATION into organizing such a fine tournament and you get to the MOST exciting / important part of this tournament, and along comes a forfeit. Either way you have done a fantastic job with this Event. Looking forward to the next one. Thanks again Hans. edge

    Just finished up match 1 of the final between Oys and I. I was absolutely on fire, making putts from everywhere. One of the highlights was #9, had a headwind and Oys played first, knocks about 25ft from the hole, low and left. So I play and get a bit unlucky that my shot didnt roll back toward the hole, but it stopped 12 ft long and right of the pin(deadly). Oys just nails his putt right in the center for a birdie. So I take a complete guess as to how to play this putt, ended up playing about 4 squares of break from 12 ft lol. It died at the top of the slope and rolled back down and in. I followed that up by holing out for eagle on #10 from 151. Like I said, on fire lol. Thanks for the game buddy, we'll be playing match 2 tomorrow.

    Yep, not mutch to say about it my friend......you played extremely well, and treated me like a redheaded stepchild LOL The putt on 9 and your sweet Eagle on 10 made me give up completely, I think!!!

    I will try to recover today and hopfully kick your butt!!  :)))

    Oys and I got our 2nd match in today after having some scheduling issues. I won 3up on St.Andrews back 9. Oys had some really bad luck with his putter, missing 2 easy birdie putts on 10 and 11, never could recover. Thanks for the match Oys, always a pleasure playing with a good friend.

    Congrats Dan on winning this tournament. Though having some serious scheduling issues this time, I hope that everybody had some fun while playing.

    Winner PGABOUND67 earns two packs of balls, random drawing winner Kriztjan earns one.

    Cheers all!

    Congratulations Dan. Great job Hans. Looking forward to the next one. May I inquire - is there a MP Trophy in the works anytime in the near future? Thanks again Hans and another BIG shout our to PGA. edge
