Yesterday, as every year, ESPN Classic Italy started to broadcast the official Open Championship films.

The first one was 1979 Open, in Royal Lytham and St. Annes. First Seve victory after four tough days into windy conditions. It was really touching look at the beauty of the Seve shots from fescue, rough or bunker (17 bunkers during the four days).

And the fourth day masterpiece: a highly talented 22 years old player face brilliantly the pressure to claim first european continental victory since 1907.

Thanks ESPN Classic, thanks Seve. Once again. Forever.

Seve´s funeral starts at 12.30am spanish time (11.30am british, 6.30am EST). It will be on spanish tv, maybe you guys will be able to watch it on some channel. BBC, Sky, ESPN...?

When Seve woke up from his brain tumor operation in 2008, his first words were:

"I always win".

In the end, he lost a battle that even he could not win, but he extended it for more than two years, longer than almost any other person in the world would have done.
