    Silverfox11407:

Personally i dont play for credits and enjoy the game simply for the fun with the friends i have made here using the chatbox and skype.

However IMO it is quite simple to inspect another persons PC for cheat software if the suspect grants you remote access to his or her PC. If they dont then that pretty much tells you they have something to hide. I willingly will let WGT or any person gain remote access to my computer with the below program and there are many more apps that allow the same.

After gaining access to the other persons PC i can check what programs or apps are intially installed and also what apps have been installed and now un-installed from that persons PC.

Obviously alot of folks dont want someone else poking around in there personal files but i have all my personal data like IRS returns, Banking data, and Social Security numbers stored on thumbdrives.

Nothing to hide here , but of course this is just my opinion worth 2 cents:

And while they're there they can download personal pictures, perhaps private information, utility bills to enable them to steal your identity, or even credit card bills that would enable them to use your Credit Card!

Sorry I'd rather pull my nuts off with a spanner!

When a person grants you remote access you are also sitting in front of your PC watching the persons every move and location he or she is accessing on your PC. Sounds like you obviously have never performed this operation before so i surely can understand your concerns. But whatever file page, document, picture files, etc. they are able to see, you know exactly what they are doing since they are moving the mouse and not you. You can cease the remote access at any time on your end. I have gained permissable remote access many times to family & friends computers to troubleshoot and make software repair changes to resolve their PC issues. I am always on the telephone simultaenously with the person chatting. So yes your right that you should never give remote access if you wont be watching your monitor while the other person is sifting through your files i agree.

I would have absolutely no problem finding a software cheat  program in another persons PC with this permissable remote access feature. Or if one had been previously un-installed.

    Regards, Ron

I skimmed through 37 pages of ego.  Glad you all have to $$ to do it.  Those that seek such extreme (assumed) need for the pat on the back, you are not thinking clearly.

LMAO,  Stan anytime WGT,  you, or anyone else want to have access to my PC, or even hire a forensic tech to inspect its harddrive & custom restore files for any cheat program, your more then welcome. My post here was simply to explain how easy it really is to find out if folks that are suspected of cheating can prove they are not.

Having a long line of family members in Law Enforcement has no bearing on gaining access to software programs, so i fail to comprehend your statement in that regard. Most every major L.E. jurisdiction employ and train investigators to inspect ceased computers for multitudes of various criminal activity or files, but they have to actually have the PC in their possesion to install the forensic programs.

A person giving you or me permission to merely gain remote assistance access does not allow the  installation of anything. It only allows visible access to the registry and other pertinent locations to see what is on the persons PC. No document files, pictures, etc. etc. need to be looked at.   After you give the permission to the other party you are watching everything that person is doing on your PC through your own monitor. If they attempt to access any file or location you feel uncomfortable with you can simply end the remote session.

Below is a quick simplistic guide of the Microsoft Maintenance tool employed in Windows 7 everyone has available to use:

As i already mentioned in my initial post above i do not play for credits and have no intention to ever do so and the reason i wont is certainly not due to the lack of funds.

Although i have never accused any single individual registered here of using a cheat program hopefully i have not opened up a can of worms that smell bad to certain folks.

    Regards, Ron

LOL. No threat there, Stan. That's a set up your own CC tournament at BPB average. It's all he plays.  :-)

Cheat is all over the place

I just see  in a bracket a player level 90, tour pro scoring under 60 all the time.  Winning ready go and bracket beating in a bracket  a tour legend , taking  the advantage of the short tee and certainly multi account. I   can't   write his name (we can't).

Yep, now that's a BS average if I've ever seen one. A 52 ave, but when you look at best scores on various courses, you see between 63-72, give us a break with that crap.

Well at least he should get pushed up soon, but even so I fully get the point.

Not checked the character, but surely there should be a limit on say the level of equipment you get to use, in a given tier, to compete for credits with.  Surely that bit is low hanging fruit, and something to help??
