I have taken the belt once again from worthy player BladstoneScrewer.  We played the back 9 @ Kiawah with match play settings.  The match went up and down the hole time.  He won hole 10 and won hole 12 he won hole 13 and won hole 15 he won 16 and I won 17.  We get to 18 and I stick a shot to about 6 feet and the pressure was on for him.  He hit it to about 3 ft.  We made our putts and went back to 10.  I teed off with a good shot in the fairway.  He hit intot he rough on the left (wind was downwind) and long.  I hit my shot to about 6 feet and he struggled shot by about 10 yards or so.  I made my birdie and took the belt on the first playoff hole.

Good playing mate and it's unfortunate that you got the spike on the playoff hole.  It wa a great match with birdies and ups and downs.  Very fun.  I enjoyed it.

Just wondering what is the next step that I need to do? Do I message the next opponent? Also, up until today I was second on the list and now I am at the bottom again. JKeezy

JKeezy, you missed bud. When I posted the reminder on your profile page, I also gave you a quick rundown of the rules. You are right in that you need to send a message to your opponent ( in this case GtechBob) in order to figure out when the 2 of you can play. You have 1 week to get 1 nine hole match in, once the poster goes up on blog site. I have also been putting the poster up on everyone involved wall as a reminder. The dates are on the bottom of posters. There is also a link to the rules on first page of this post.

So once the poster goes up, send a PM, or post a message on your opponents wall. It's up to the 2 of you to arrange a time that is most convenient for the both of you. If you don't hear from opponent after a coulpe days, post again. If you don't recieve a reply by say day 4 or 5, then post a message on Belt blog that you can't get a hold of him, that you are trying, but he's not answering. As long as you show that you made an effort to get ahold of him you will not lose your spot in line. If he doesn't show then the following week you would be up against the next person in line. In your case, I checked your activity page and don't see where you tried to contact him at all. I checked gtechbobs wall, and there were no post's from you. It also shows he hasn't recorded a round since Jan, 7. If you would of left a message or two, you'd still be at top of list. From what we can tell, neither one of you talked to the other, hence your dropping back down to the bottom. We don't know what is happening unless you tell us. We want people to play, so if you don't show interest, we move on to the next 2. Sorry if this caught you unaware. Next time you will know what to do. OK?

Yes that was a very entertaining game Chris, it had just about everything including the dreaded spike just when i needed it ,,, hehe, to be honest tho from that position even without the spike i wudda struggled to get birdie, you are a worthy Belt winner you stuck it out all the way and never gave up.

Ya, I was looking at the list and when my name moved up to the top I was just waiting for an e-mail or message. The results never were updated so I didnt know what was going on. I am on this thing every day and didnt see anything that really gave me a clue on what was going on. So its too late? Are u going to do another one again? If so, do I have to wait that long to play?
