Thank you Bogey
I would say in those past 4 months, I've spent more HOURS playing WGT, than I have ever invested in any game or sport in all my years....... At times it was an obsession so bad, my family had an "intervention" lol
The 2 new courses have been awesome, being competitive in the US OPEN was exciting, but the biggest thing that has enriched my WGT experience, was joining an Alt shot league and Chat room. I went from playing with mostly randoms, to being part of a team, and playing nightly tournaments with friends on mine or opposing teams. We shared lots of information on how to play certain holes, or how to hit a particular shot and this steepened my learning curve dramatically. Sometimes we even Broadcast using PROCASTER our bigger events/rounds and its exciting to see how others play certain shots and cheer for your team. WIn or lose, it was better experience for me than playing randoms.
I know since the WGT restructure, its easier to move up in equipment, lvls and tiers for me now, than when you joined in 2009. Ive got nothing but respect for you guys who've been here and have seen all the changes. Its definitely easier now to advance.
Hopefully in the next few days I'll get the lvl 88 R-11. If I can keep whittling my average down, I'd love to get to legend by the end of summer and get to play the longer tees and faster greens all the time. ( at least this is my goal )
See ya on the links
