  Hi,

  Whats up with the new Shot n Putter Pal on the Top right of the Profile? It wasn't there before, after todays update, its visible.

  Nice philosophy.............         So, because they may or may not change their business model and charge a fee for service.........they are stooping under bars?  

  In essence, you think this game should be "free"......in a nutshell, an entitlement? 

  Question......  when you visit the grocer do you lay on the floor, pissing, moaning and whining when they ask you to pay for the items you have selected?

  There's a vast difference between buying groceries paying for food at a grocery store and buy *** on here - That has to be one of the more ridiculous comparisons I've seen in here where comparing 'value' of what's offered for purchase in this game.

  The most obvious being that if something I buy from the grocery store is defective, bad, rotten generally 'not as advertised' I can return it.

  Grocery store customer - consumer with protections and rights

  WGT customer - usually someone with little self control, impulse buyer of digital stuff.

  Ridiculous comparison?     Hardly..... 

  One can elect to play WGT  and spend NOTHING.......... utilizing the hack sticks and  house eggs.....      that's a choice.....

  One can elect to visit the grocer and spend NOTHING....utilizing the free samples and the water fountain......  that's a choice....      or perhaps one would prefer to eat dirt, bugs, weeds, grass and drink from the muddy water puddle or drainage ditch,,,,that's free as well......

  The issue is "entitlement".....      I want it....  I want it NOW....  and I don't want to pay a damn thing for it......

  I dont think entitlement is being implied here . WGT has always advertised as a free to play game . Nothing wrong with that and its why I play it . Been here for 6 years now and have never spent a penny out of pocket to play . All I have ever invested into this game is my time and nothing else .

  The new pro shop items make no sense to the majority of us as they serve no need that we can see . Its no big deal and its something that is not new to the majority of us . WGT will add useless products to the game and its our choice as to if we want to buy it .

  This is the WGT way and it has been this way for the last 6 years of my being here . Will I buy any of the new products added to the game ? No as I have no need for them and am very happy with what I have .

  i worked some rough numbers out earlier on the premier pass.

   

  Now i picked 500 credit/sleeve balls. 

   

  at 2.5 rounds per ball. that's about 7.5 rounds per sleeve. 

   

  that equals 270 rounds... so with bonus the break even is around 135 rounds. 

   

  edit:obviously the price of the balls you buy impacts this number. 

   

  So this is IF you are interested in gaining levels for clubs. If you will play 135 rounds in a year... but if you don't care or if you are club maxxed obviously not worth it. but if you're 90 trying to get to 103... different situation.
