In the excitement, I forgot to save the scorecard. Another nailbiter came down to a big putt on 18. This time it goes in favor of USA as team world's birdie putt from 6 feet slid just left of the hole.

Team USA: Dud_doodle & JCOlson win 1up versus Villadeoro & Elvinomepego.

Round was very back and forth with the first halve not coming until the 5th hole. Team USA was -7 as a team and took a 2 shot lead into the back 9. Team World cut it to one after a stellar birdie on 11.  USA then wins 12. World wins 13. USA wins 15. World wins 16. Halved the final two holes.

Outstanding play by both sides highlighted by Elvinomepegos approach on #4 to inches and dud_doodles approach on #17 to inches.  Several clutch sliding putts made by both teams and each missed a couple inside 10 feet as well.  Could have gone either way. Luck ran red, white, and blue in this match.

Thoroughly enjoyed playing with Villa and Walter. Both great players and great guys! Another Ryder Cup classic...

Well played JC and Dud; nip and tuck the whole way but getting up to that early lead was always going to be handy. Well fought Villa and Walter - we know you'll come out fighting hard in your next matches.

Stuffix and Myself Beat SCK and Win1soon 6up,Jules putted everything in front of him almost and i hit some nice shots too,Both Win1 and SCK  Edged a couple of putts early in the first 6 holes and that gave us the confidence and momentum to relax and play our game which was the telling factor,Not a great day on the Greens for them and that was the main difference:)

Very well played, Amanda and Julien. Outstanding performance. :)

Great respect for Stone and Win1Soon. An unlucky match happens, you know. Best of luck in your next matches.

Awesome playing, Tess and Julien!! 6&5, aah that's the stuff :)

You were kind of lucky, though ;) I heard all about how when Win1Soon is on, he is on. As for Stone, well he did win the Open!

GO TEAM WORLD, let's build on the 2 point lead! W00T!
