I fully understand the frustration of some of our players, we've had a few of these in every CC vs. CC match, but not as many as in this one. I guess some people are just too scared to leave the shallow end of the pool. ....................................... But I feel I need to chime with my experience. I actually had the same frustrations in our last inter CC match against Aphrodite (I was one of the very few though), when my opponent failed to show up at our agreed time, then went into silent mode for 2 weeks, not answering any messages and ignoring my every invite, when she was green........................... Ross (rossembo) on the other hand was completely different, we comminicated very well and we were able to arrange our match with ease. Even when something came up and he couldn't keep our 1st appointment, he informed me well in advance and we rescheduled immediately.................................The match itself was a tale of 2 halves, Ross, had a mare on the front, so I was 5 up at the turn. but he had a monster back 9, played -7 over the 8 holes we played on the back. Good thing I birdied #17 for a half and a 2&1 win, otherwise it could've been a nervy final hole. Some really great play from tee to green on the back, it was a shame his putter was stone cold on the front. I've always said, that gold putters are useless for everyone, who putts off ding, cause you can't get a good line with that much forgiveness.............................. Anyway, Ross was a sportsman, a gentleman and a credit to the game and it was a pleasure meeting him.
