bbaggins....check your bag for a new putter

And that, my furry-footed friend, is what's called a definite bonus! (and a very cool gesture on your part wildcat...nice work)

Wild's also giving you some really solid advice on the irons....

The Z Satin TP 64 wedge mentioned earlier in the thread is a wise purchase too. Probably one of the most heavily-used clubs in my bag next to driver and putter. It's my go-to club within 50 yds of the flag. Master this club and your scrambling (and scoring), will improve accordingly. Highly recommended!

My apologies. I'm just practicing sarcasm for when the original poster, who pointed out my incorrect arithmetic, shows up. No offence meant :^)

Having the cost variable wrong is the same as having the math wrong, so I was correct. I didn't suggest a list of clubs solely because he doesnt have enough credits for me to make a suggestion, upgrading your driver, 3W, and wedges does no good if the yardages are VERY stretched out due to not being able to upgrade your irons as well that it's pointless to do it in my opinion.

If youre driving 250, and your 3W is 225, but you drop all the way down to a 180 3I, thats a 45 yard gap.

My recommendation would have been to wait till you have enough to atleast get the 450cr Pro iron set (at the very least)to help make up the gap with the Driver and 3W. Since the OP stated he would probably not be receiving any more credits anytime soon I didn't make a suggestion.

very cool by wildcat indeed. i promise not to beat him if our paths cross. ok its more of a pledge than a promise but hes probably not in too much danger.
