  We would obviously have liked a different result, but you where the better team this time. Well done to you and your team.

  All these matches were played in great spririt and we had absolutely no hiccups with setting the games. Was a pleasure playing you. Good luck in your next rounds.

  Well, the Boners have apparently run out of Viagra and sadly flopped to a defeat in the second round of The Plate knockout.

  Many thanks to Paul for all the effort and time that goes into running this, having run CC events on a much smaller scale I can sort of appreciate how much time this must take up.

  Thanks to all those we played against, I heard nothing but positive things from all on my team.  I also made a few good new friends which is always nice.

  Hello all

  Welcome to the Semi-final of the cup and the plate

  There has been some cracking matches in this quarter final’s i have watched most lol and some of those matches have been very close,

  
  

  We have to say goodbye to the Chickens,Carolina,kona and the Raiders in the cup and East Coast,Indianred and the Screamers form the plate,you gave it 100% and as I said some of those matches could have gone either way but thanks for taking part,

  18 holes Match play

   

  This is probably the best matchplay course on Wgt,lots of risk and rewards holes and some of the toughest  par 3s to go for but it’s all or nothing now so you can’t play safe. Really looking forward to watching some live golf on this course.

   

  RULES

   

  Each match will be played to a win or loss even in sudden death,

   

  If it goes to sudden death no handicaps will apply,

   

  Each match will have a 2 week timeline to complete

   

   

  Any matches not completed on time will be looked at by the panel and a decision made on the result depending on evidence supplied, I can’t see there being any problems with this

   

  Any players refusing to play will forfeit their match,

   

   

   

  Any player with a - 2 must  concede  holes 8  and 18

   

   

  I would suggest a 90sec shot time with 7 timeouts but players can go for less if both agree if one doesn’t then 90secs no arguments,

  No focus boosts will be allowed during matches. Use of this tool will lead to a disqualification

  Players please post results so we can update the results page,

  Let’s keep the forum busy but no negative comments from anyone, if you have problem contact your captain first,

  We all know how important it is to get matches played and please play all matches even if you have lost the match, it’s all about making new friends

  Semi Final 1, Tie #2

  Vaibhav5viv won 3&2 over RSilverBullet

  Really high quality match with some great scoring.

  Ron started really hot to birdie the first 3 while I just missed my birdies on 1&3 to go 2 DN after 3. I turned it around after that with an eagle on 4, shot to 4'' on 5, 36ft bird on 6, hit the flag birdie on 7, eagle on 8 and another birdie on 9 to make the turn at 2 UP. Birdied 10 to go 3 UP before we both par'd 11, eagled 12 and birdied 13th. I birdied 14th to go 4UP before he made a birdie from fringe on 15th. I had a chance to finish the game at 15 but pulled my putt. Both par'd 16 to close out the match.

  I won my match 3&2 against a truly excellent player.

  He was absolutely clinical on the front 9. His first 5 approaches were all within 4ft, never seen anything like it in a matchplay game. I had to play a -5 with some long-ish putts to be only 1DN. We both played par on the 6th and I could finally get it back to even with a birdie on 7.

  After that we both played three birdies 8 to 10. I decided the match with my birdie, eagle, birdie run on 11-13. Being 3UP we both lost a bit of focus finishing the game with even par on 14-16.

  Thanks for the game, Javier! Tough matches like this are the reason why I like this tournament! :)

  I think we both played rather off our game but I struck first getting a decent approach on 3 while trip just missed his 43ft attempt my shorter putt went in I'm 1up

  hole 5 started the swing he nailed a long bird while i missed my attempt were AS

  hole 6 we both missed bird attempt but i missed my par he got his hes 1up

  hole 7 was a repeat of 6 he's 2up

  hole 8 i got 1 back just got my bird attempt (slid in side door) he missed his he's 1 up

  at the turn Trip 1up

  hole 12 (my favorite hole on wgt) fighting head winds we both short fairway for him wide right on green for me.  His close to hole wedge my not so close fighting crazy break ...he mad par i missed trip 2up

  hole 13 I managed to bird while he missed trip 1up

  we matched shots 14,15,16

  hole 17 missed ding late on 15-17 left to right winds and found sand , but luck would have it his shot landed right of pin and rolled into rough. My hit out of sand landed just a few feet short of pin and what do you know i'm back in the sand second try i was 3ft away. His hit out of rough 2ft away ....game over

  ujjbnjk defeated JSmithers in a 18 hole match play game on CHAMBERS BAY 2/1 2 sided game i played great f9 and barley made a single misstake...josh just didnt get his game going....4up for me at turn. B9 was a diffrent story Josh started to play real well...and i was just hacking around...in the end he run out of holes and i could breath again lol..got the match record will upload it whenever my internet behaves horrible at the moment...Thanks for Match man and good luck to the rest of your team members.
