Happy to report that all Matches are complete in Round #1 at this time. The matches were all completed in absolutely superb sportsmanship between both Squads, with no issues along the way!

A big shout out to YankeeJim, and his Squad of the Cosa Nostra Wiseguys, your Team was a joy to compete against, and we wish you and your Players, the Best of Luck the rest of the way! Thank you Jim.

With a week to go, we have 5 out of the 16 matches completed.

Group 1 only has 2 of their 32 matches to complete.

Group 2 has 12 to complete, and are a little behind, although 7 of these games are in the match between Aphrodite Athena and Scottish Bravehearts Fore Screamers.

Group 3 has 10 games to go, whilst Group 4 has 8.

That gives us 32 of the 128 individual games to go (25%). I think that pretty decent going. Keep those results coming in.

Thanks for the shout out, you've managed to freak my team out. LOL. I had to give them all lollipops and say there, there, it's only the first round. Long way to go. ;-)

Eagles vrs Indian Red

Was a great match on the front 9 with Rob chipping in for an eagle on #5 to square the match. I went 1 up after 9 and Rob was having meter issues some of the game or this would have probably went 18 holes. NTMU and good luck the rest of the way Rob.

Rob wins 2 & 1.

Gill it was a pleasure to play you and you put in a superb performance to fight back from 3 down after 4 to all square by 12.Your eagle on 12 being a particular highlight and a really impressive display with the putter throughout. It took a 4 birdie spell between 14 and 17 in some pretty testing winds to get over the line and you had an unlucky meter on 16.

Very well played and good luck in the rest of the competition.
