Group 1 Wooden Tees vs. Cosa Nostra

The last remaining match was played today and ended in a win for CN: DoctorEagle 4&3 over Tgkomv.

Thanks to Cosa Nostra for the friendly matches, glad we managed to get them all played.

Sorry i'm a little late posting this, just want to say a huge thank you to Bery and the guys over at The Amigos for an enjoyable round. There has been a strong bond between SEL and The Amigos for quite some time and that was reinforced in this match, nothing but positive reports on all matches.

Thank you Amigos from all at SEL and thank you Bery for your help in getting it all done. You're doing a great job with the club and our very best wishes going forward

our teams opponents are from wgt amigos (all players belwo)

but it shoes all star twats below

Group 1, round 8, match 3: fmagnets wins 3&2 against Randy5900.

A poor 1st hole from me combined with the conceded 4th meant the front 9 was pretty close all the way. I had to birdie every hole from the 6th onwards just to get far enough ahead to avoid having to play the 17th with the spectre of the conceded 18th looming. Well done to Randy5900 for hanging in there all the way. It was a fun game, played in good spirit, nice and fast, and my first WC match having to concede holes (I think). Here's the vid.

I just played DeanBarr in Group 4, Round 8, Match 2.

And got my butt kicked in one of the best games I've ever had here. A real pleasure to play one of the old guard and be able to chat about the old names and gear. Some brilliant golf played too, the win being sealed with an eagle on the 16th hole.

Many thanks for the game Dean, it really was a pleasure and an honour to finally play you.

By the way, is there a spot prize for the 8th hole? My ace there might be in with a chance : )
