  Group 2 Round 2 Match 1 Tie #2

  Draw between mgsvz 61(+2) and george1an 63

  Just a great fun match.  Gina played phenomenal.  Her highlights include birdies  on 6-10 including a chip-in on 7, drive to 1.5 foot on 12, and a miraculous par save on 14 from the brush just off the fairway.  I was able to eke out a draw with two nice birdies on 15 and 17--the latter was a chip-in so we were even on those also.  We went into 18 tied and both made nice birdies.  My first match of the 2018 World Cup and it reminded me why last year was so much fun.  Thanks Gina for the great match!

  In what will almost certainly stand as the worst beat down of this entire tournament, I managed to lose by 14 strokes gross and 10 strokes net.

   Round 2 Match 1:

   

  Mpr2929 (player 71) shoots a 72!

   

  Tarheelfan83 (player 468) shoots 58 gross and 62 after the 4 stroke handicap

   

  I should put some funny comment here but I just can’t think of anything.

   

  Next day edit: I also realize that I forgot to include the Group info.  This was Group 3, Outkasts C vs Squirrel Killers.  I didn't even get the post-match post right...
