Complete Inconsistancy

  I play the first hole on Oakmont with a left to right wind at 10 mph.  I choose to aim at the left side of the fairway and somehow almost end up in the right side bunkers.  Having been away from WGT for awhile I thought I should restart the round having in mind what the changes are.  The new wind is a right to left wind at 13 mps so I aim at the right edge of the right hand bunkers, take my swing, and WOW!!  Somehow the shot is just hugging the right side!!  WTF!!!  First time at 10 mph my ball was violently shoved to the right side and on the second time out it barely moves!!  This game STILL sucks at best.

  Did you "ding" both shots?  What clubs are you using?  Lower level clubs have less consistency relative to aim point.  Point is, there are other factors to consider than just wind speed/direction and aim.

  Why can't you putt off the fringe on ccc i was 8 ft away above the hole it didn't move an inch thats absurd

  It's a glitch that's been on here a long time. Most people just tickle a wedge instead.

  Ok but with all these faults in the game why is it still called the most realistic

  Because it is and as for the fringe thing being a glitch, I don't think it is. Quirky, yes, a glitch, no.

  There is a game which is more realistic.You can open or close stance for fade or draw.You can play the ball up or back in stance.You can use your mouse to hit the ball.You have full control of the swing without the dinger.Graphics are great and multitudes of well known courses.You play from cds and have more control of the game.The only cost is the price of the cds of  which courses you want to play.PGA golf by Sierra.Heck ya even get mulligans.

  Curious, can you play against others online, or is it just from a stand-alone thing?
