You do? Since the last 'supposed' close down for maintenance the loading on wgt is pathetic and downright unreliable.

Game after game either myself or other players are getting disconnected but I suppose it's a waste of me complaining because as usual, WGT does nothing.

I was just playing a very exciting game of alternate shot with my partner and we got disqualified because one or both of us had disconnected three times.. What the HELL ARE WE SUPPOSED TO DO WHEN THE GAME DOESN'T LOAD OR FREEZES THE SCREEN?

Before that we had three attempts to start the game but within 2 seconds of starting WGT was saying... there was a connection problem. - the only damned connection problem was the WGT Servers

They're about as useless as an ashtray on a motorbike.

What's even more annoying is that WGT NEVER seems to address the complaints, they ignore the posts on the forum and hope you'll go away.

And for WGTs benefit... my computer has just been rechecked and serviced at an IT store and my partners computer is 3 days old.

    I breathlessly await an answer

    Hi

i'he played 100+ matches and rarely have issues in A/S. and if I do, they are sorted. Maybe ojnce or twice I had the issue you described but re-load fixed it.

Now, we have thousands and thousands players playing at any given moment, so if the issue is limited to selected few and all use same software, then issue most likely is on that end.

try this all all 3 main browsers, (ff/ie/chrome)

    • Clear Browser cache: Click here for instructions.
    • Clear Adobe Flash cache: Click here , and click the "Delete all sites" button in the Settings Manager.

and maybe it will be fixed. if not, please email members@worldgolftour.com, so they can further assist you

If you don't clear your caches (as above) after every update, then it's your own damn fault.  No sense of trying to cuss at WGT when it's clearly a YOU problem.

My caches are cleared.... I haven't disconnected once, unless ~I~ push the red x in the corner from my frustration at not being able to putt worth a damn....  but ~I~ don't blame WGT for MY faults.

I really love people that think they're really smart and everyone else is dumb.Every Monday morning or when there is a Flash up grade the following proceedures are performed on my computer.

    1. Complete anti virus scan

    2  anti spyware scan

    3  Clear Browser cache

    4 Clear Flash Cache

    5 reboot the system

    6 load WGT

7 Preload both Kiawah and Beth Page

The above is standard practice for me but seeing as I make a complaint along with hundreds of others that do not bother to come to the forum and complain - I must be the idiot.

Read my lips... the problem is not mine but that of WGT

Thank you, Juan... you have pointed out the line I neglected to mention.

    "When playing BY MYSELF".

I have quit exactly 1 multiplayer game in 3 years when one of the opponents was being an *** and using his putter from the fairway.  There were 3 others that quit on that game as well.

Funny that... there is an upgrade to WGT on Tuesday Night, but you've already cleared your caches on Monday so you must be good.

    Wow.  Color me embarrassed.

Next time, wait until AFTER the WGT update to do your house-cleaning.  And yes, you can clear them too many times and make WGT load every page every time you show up, which will delay your loading times, too.

At least you got something right.

    Typical response from you Snaike.

No, you can't clean up too often to keep your computer running slim and trim and preloading the games negates waiting for every page.to reload - wherever did you learn your computer skills?

You might like to think of yourself as an Ambassador for WGT but what you actually are is a PITA.

It hasn't gone un-noticed that you continually side with WGT when members are making genuine complaints and in most cases attempt to put both the members and the complaints down.

Either you're not playing the game and experiencing the same problems or you're living in cloud Cukooland. Wait!! There's more....

You don't play much golf, your activity is mainly on the forum,,, so you can't possibly understand what the members are going through In fact from what I see you've hardly played any golf at all.

If you want to get into a non-productive war of words with me Snaike be my guest, better people than you have tried it over the years but before you do that... get your ass off the forum and play some golf, all types and experience what the members are going through.

It's easy to be a keyboard warrior if you don't know what the hell you're talking about
