For instance......same hole, same wind...granted they landed in different spots, but that shouldn't make this big of a difference,

Jim, that's very surprising to me that you don't have every yardage marked down for each wedge/avatar movement.

Ironically, I was thinking about you when I wrote that because of how you use your 64. You know the choke numbers and play well with it that way. I like using all of the shots because there are so many different yardages and you can take full swings.

Yep you (and probably 99% of WGT) play that club and pitch, chip, flop they way they are suppose to be played. I just became so frustrated with the inconsistence of the pitch and chip I gave up. I will say without trying to sound like I'm bragging because I'm not, that I can get up and down from just about anywhere from 20 yrds or so around the green using only the Satin 64 and full shot mode. When I started using that instead of chip, pitch and flop I bet it took 3-5 shots off a round. Maybe more.

My sand saves and scrambling are around 66 to 68% using just that one club and one shot. That isn't too bad is it? Cause I'm not sure. What's considered average for a low 60s legend I wonder?

PGABound and DonVito-Clear your Flash caches. Anytime you get new stuff that acts unexpectedly clearing out the old files and reloading the new ones usually fixes that.

I cleared it right after I bought it YJ, but figured I'd do it again anyway, so just cleared it. And here is the result....this wedge has issues

    Like it hits a wall

One thing i'll miss with the cleveland wedge is with the satin you get an awsome 13 yard pitch shot which i use a heck of a lot to get out of sticky situations, the cleveland is 17 yards,  meaning i'm going to to have to choke a lot, which i9 don't like doing

I've just had enough of all my cleveland wedges and thrown them out of my bag and gone back to old reliable ping 105,75 & zatin 50 yarder.  I've had enough of shots spinning back loads, othertimes not.  You don't know what to expect.  I used to be within 2/3 yards the majority of times with my old wedges any where from 120 yards, with the clevelands i struggle to get within 4.

The Cleveland wedges are good for the short game, but for me i prefer to be within 2 yards of pin than 4/5+, or maybe ball spinning back 6/7.  C U later Clevelands, off to the scrap yard for you....

Lay off the spin. These wedges perform superbly without it and their accuracy trumps every wedge released so far. It's one thing to be able to put the ball into high gear reverse. It'a a totally different thing knowing how to use the spin. Balls that spin 5 yards back to the pin just tell me the shooter guessed on the shot and used the spin for some unknown reason. Shots that hop back to the yardage you played to (like PGA's replay) are much more impressive.

On the 17 yard pitch-full back spin stops it, unlike the Satin where you have to allow for the rollout.

For a bit of back spin, i would touch b/spin by a cm, full throttle rverse could happen any where near 3/4 way down to bottom of ball.  I'm not dinying their brilliance for short game, but i'm not sacrificing landing within 2 yards most of the time with pings (full backspin or no backspin) for 4+ yards with clevelands.  If you prefer clevelands, good for you, glad you like them, but personally i prefer pings, no point breaking a winning formula for one that doesn't work.

Fair enough i didn't ike my irons at first, but got used to them, and now i love them, but clevelands, no thanks, i've tried and tried, i just don't like them.

there's no point lecturing me about back spin, i know what yardages certain amounts of spin gives you, with all irons/wedges, half or full, you end up with shots like this:

    LOL

But i think i might compromise for you Y J, I'm going to carry on using clevelands for fun but when i'm playing in a matchplay challenge round i'll use pings/zatin.

LOL-Don't do it for me, Chris, I don't care if you go back to the starters. I was just surprised you gave away the precision for forgiveness.  ;-)

I guess I'm going to agree with everybody - even the ones who may be disagreeing - here.

The club is absolutely awesome for stopping a flop on a downhill slope. I did not save any replays, but I've tried it a few times and it's impressive.

On the other hand, full bs on a full shot, well, granted on this one there's 10 in. of downhill slope between where the ball hits and the flag, but still...

Not a shot I would normally hit, but I was not going to make the cut and decided to see what would happen.
