A couple of knowns for ya-it flops 14 yards out of 30/40 rough and 11 yards out of 40-50 (full bs missing to the first hash left of center.) The full shot draws by itself so use a little top spin to stop it and the punch will cover your Satin.  GL

    Quick question Jim,

I normally flop by moving the cursor left then trying to ding, rather than a deliberate miss.  Do you know if this affects the flop distances mentioned?

Also, have you tried flopping out of the sand?

When flopping, the aimer lines up with the first mark to the left of center. That's empirical and I've proved it to myself 100 times. I'm not sure how deviation is affected by missing like that so I just trust the yardages I see when learning it. I don't see a negative affect on the distances and the shot is very easy to choke.

Sand flops I know for sure--the 80w full back spin goes 12 yards out of 30/40 sand. I pitch a lot out of traps because it's measurably more effective.

I'm having trouble hitting this thing from the sand.  I had a pretty good formula with the Satin 64 for sand, and could sink my share and always get within 5 feet.  The formula doesn't work for the CG 64.....it's going several yards too far.  I'll try to back it down a notch.  If that doesn't work, I'll be looking for sand lessons with this thing......haven't really pitched much from sand, as the full shot I was using was pretty effective.

i noticed that too heis. i found you have to take off about 50% less with the CG64 than the TM64. same goes for rough around the green.

Keep in mind you're swinging a club that goes 10 yards further so adjust your formula to that 60 instead of 50. The Satin flops 15 and the CG 20 so that 5 yards needs to be allowed for. It threw me a little at first but is easy to readjust to. The choked full swings really work well too if you're into that.

Try the pitch out of sand. You don't lose much in the distance and the roll is fairly easy to control with the spin. Choking works well too.

I keep trying that Cleveland 60y (level 80), and being put off by the wildly different results in out of bunker shots, from identical percentage lies and similar landings. What on earth am I doing wrong or not understanding right? My Z Satin still appears far more consistent and reliable.

    HELP!
