Thanks everybody... cut still at 60.. and I'm starting to move down the list..

If I don't make the cut, it doesn't matter, I'm just very happy breaking 60 for the first time

    Cheers

I'm an average legend player, and I shot 58 the second time I played it.  Probably lucky more than anything.  (shot 27 on the back 9).   It took me forever to qualify on Congressional (I just shot 59 yesterday, after at least 60 or so attempts).  This cut is going to drop for sure!

I'm the opposite CM.  Got a 60 at Congressional pretty quickly and improved to a 59 before I stopped qualifying.  I did get a 59 at RSG but since then I'm at 62 almost every single round.  The reason is putting, for whatever reason I can not get the hang of the greens at RSG and it always seems to be the break, over or under borrow it every time.

I have played several rounds in stroke play with high winds and I can say that the course is a different animal with high winds and even the bump from TM tournaments greens to Legend tournament greens makes a difference.  The championship greens on this tract as well as on Congressional is going to make a huge difference with all the mounds that you have to navigate.  Not sure if it will be as tough as Oakmont last year but there won't be as many rounds in the 50's for sure.

I've played a few Alt shot games on the course now and have found the greens a getting slower. My putts are starting to come up short alot of the time now.

The course is getting tougher to play the further qualifying goes on, which is good...still hanging in there..hehehe. I must admit though...still haven't seen anybody lose a ball yet.

Somtimes I just think too much, and worry too much about rolls and speed on greens, which makes things worse most of the time...

    Cheers

Well, that is messed up.  The Qualifying rounds all said from 6/20-7/18 for qualifying.  I bought a buncha balls for today to make a last run at it, being the 18th, but apparently, the $%$#^% thing should have said qualifying is 6/20-7/17, because it ended as soon as it was 7/18.  Not through 7/18 as it said.

More to the point why are we unable to tee off our first round at this time?
