switching country clubs

  would like to switch cc's, how do i do that?

  You must quit your current one first, then join a new one. 

   

  goto my profile, my CC, just under the Club Forum is a button that says Quit Country Club.

  First you have to quit your current club. You can do this from the CC home page, by clicking the "Quit Country Club" button on the page. It should be located under the "Club Forum" tab of the page, as shown below:

  

  Once you have done that simply request membership in what ever CC you would like to join. Hope this helps you.

  Don’t you have to be invited before you can join another CC? 

  No, the club just has to be open to accepting new members; then you can request to join --- some CC's have their settings so that there is owner acceptance of the request  as the next step.  Some CC's have their settings so that all requests are automatically accepted without owner action.

  I have it set so I have to approve it first. I like to check the player first, so i don't get a questionable player in our midst .

  Glad to see I am not the only one that does this. I generally check rounds played looking to make sure the player plays stroke play. This because we are a stroke play and tournament oriented club, and our participation rules are written as such. I also tend to do a quick player search using the players name truncated off the last few characters. This to see if the player is an obvious multi-accounter, we have refused a few requests over the years for this, but it is getting harder to spot these with so many players on the site.

   

  I know it goes against the “We have xxx millions of players” advertisements but I do wish they would clean house of accounts that have not been played in a few years.

  Many players do like the same sorts of names that start with the same letters. What I look for is whether the score history matches what one might expect of whatever tier I'm looking at. Tour Pro with 32's is probably a multi, for instance.

  We have been doing long enough so we can spot a multi. I have been recruiting through dead clubs and you would not believe the TP's with 62 and 63 averages. 1 Club, the whole club was like that. I hit one owner(TP) that had 93% GIR and 99% Driving. Her stats were beter than mine. 100%  sand saves and 90+ scrambling with 54 rounds
