Sure you got enough browser options there Jim ?

Each has had it's uses in the past.

Hmm. Not sure why I hang onto IE. If they'd get flash and java settled, I could probably drop a couple more. Nox and Blue Stacks are there solely for grabbing vid credits.

Since Maxthon was the only reliable one for the carousel, it may go bye-bye soon.

Meter stats is cool. Now they just should be public on tournaments.

Maybe this is a precursor to that. That would be an outstanding addition to the leaderboards-the score followed by the 3 numbers on the chart.

There are some players that shoots 17-18 under on 18 holes but they have poor scrambling/puttings stats (around 60% and 1.45 for putts) that makes me go "hmmm"..

Seeing someone's average score being shown as 49.87 makes me go "hmmm"...

How is that possible? Are par 3 courses being counted now in computing averages?

Par3 scores do not count towards average.

Making blanket statements where certain stats make someone go hmmm makes me go hmmm.  Stats are cumulative from the beginning of time.  People do get better.

I was pretty certain par 3 scores didn't count, that's why I said when I see a player's average is 49.87 (which duffputt's average is), that makes me go "hmmm".

You were probably addressing him, but no one has yet replied how it's possible for someone's average to be that low...in his score history I don't see any 49's (or 25's for a 9 hole round)...how can that average be that low? Anyone?

I think the meter stats, should be put in the player public states, it could be noted as a monthly total. Also would be nice to have the scorecard for all tournaments publicly shown on a players profile.

    Just an idea

Level up to a new average and then play nothing but red tees, quitting on any round over 25. Play until saturation.

    Easy CC tourney's perhaps...

Also, there could just be enough sub 50 rounds after saturation to push the average that low.  If 52's are normal for the top players 48/9's aren't that far of a stretch.  How many it would take I have no idea.

Untill around 51,5 is normal tee boxes. From then on its red tees in the CC. You are welcome to play a round with me some day so I can explain the game and in detail tell you what shot is the correct one to choose, incl % power %back/top and aim.

There is one thing Im proud of and that is playing the game honestly and if you search through the forum you will find that I would be very pleased with public ding%'es

The average score is saturated. Meaning its the best 200 or 500 best rounds. If its a 9 hole round, just double it (a 24 will be a 48 for average counting).

That means all the bad round are out of the calculation.

On a par 72 course I have never shot under 52 from champion tier. But I do play a few red tee CC's tourneys. There has been 22's, 23's and so on. They count as 44 and 46. Enough of those and your average is under 50.

    when I see a player's average is 49.87
The (probably) lowest Champion average is 46.00, resulting from exclusive red tee play AFAIK, solo in their CC.

The player's account is no longer active though, after 3.5 years of playing.

Not quite exact. I see a 24 on STA in his records, and, as stated before, these scores are accumulating due to the non-linear nature of the saturated average.

It's so nice to see not only ONE mod in the thread giving info, but TWO !! And both with a sense of humor. Thank you Champ and Icon. AKD
