    hi

    unfortunately, no.

this has been discussed many times and the overall concensus is that you cannot change balls during play, so it defaults back to original ball

Like Icon stated its been discussed before, many, many times.

It is against the rules of golf.  WGT the governing body enforces "the one ball" rule.  Thus, you are not allowed to substitute another kind of golf ball into play.   Now before you ask "BUT I GET STARTER BALL, THAT'S DIFFERENT".  The starter ball is deemed not to enhance your gameplay, thus WGT allows it.   The other option would be disqualification.

Just a thought!  Check your bag before you play.

    Cheers,

    b0gey

    Sir,

I applaud you decision to resign from this site. It is note worthy that after 2 weeks of play and given that the rules of golf will not be changed for you, you have couragously elected to find an venue in which to vent. I am sure the game will be better for it. Good luck in your future endevours.

If one can't "change balls" during play, then how is it that one can begin to use "original" balls when one no longer has another ball like the one taken out of play... such an explanation does not make sense; that is, one is doing just what you indicated one can't do: "change balls" during play.

If one can't "change balls", then one's round should either be ended, or one should be allowed to purchase similar balls before continuing.

    Thanks....HB3

Agree completely, they are invoking the one ball rule in one hand and then breaking it in the other.

It would be  a bit like playing in a real golf tournament and running out of balls,

"so is that me disqualified then?"

"oh no, you can change to the driving range ball now".

Would it be so difficult to have a pop up screen that appears when you have used your last premium ball to offer you the chance to buy some more?
