First Hole in One today!!

  Was playing Casablanca on Chambers Bay.  Not sure which par 3, but there was big elevation drop.  86 feet if I remember.  The guy said "Be Good!!" I think which I had never heard before. Then the ball rolled right in.  It doesn't show in my stats since it was Casablanca, but I have a screen cap of the scorecard.  Pretty happy. Just wanted to share.

  LOL. I would have liked to have seen the look on your face. Now you know, go get another one, they tend to come in streaks.  ;-)

  Thanks, everyone.  It was pretty cool.  It only took....7 years to get it. Hopefully the next one won't take as long.

  Yep!  My 1st was nearly 6 years ago (9/9/12) and I still remember it as if yesterday, particularly when playing that hole (7th @ Congressional, centre pin).  

  Yet try as I might, I've not got a 2nd there  :-((    lols

  I well remember my first, #17 at Oakmont which made it also my first albatross.

  That hole was also the final one in my only ever sub 50 round earlier this year.  Obviously a custom course and I needed to play the last 3 holes 7 under to do it.  Eagle, birdie, hole in one eagle on PB# 7 (I think 7 anyway, the 109 yard one with a 30ish foot drop). Drove the green on the last, Oak #17, and made a putt from about 15 feet for the 49.

  Sure was a great feeling and 2 days before my 50th birthday too  : )
