  I hope you are wrong Michel! I will say the referee allowed France to play the way they did - I'd say the better football playing team lost last night which was a shame.

  Since the first game, all the referees allowed france to play the way they did so it will be a miracle win for Croatia.

  For the beauty of the sport it will be great than a little country like Croatia win the final but i don't think the FIFA with all the chicanery or scheming want Croatia to win the final (sadly).

  I still hope i'm wrong, it will be great.

  We are still licking our wounds this morning! Belgium v England could have been a great final! Yes, I think France will win.

  I was watching last night - when the 2nd half started I could see England had a wide gap on our left side which Croatia started to exploit, and that's where their equaliser came from. I wish Southgate had done the following team change at 50 minutes:

  Rose on for Sterling

  Dier on for Lingard

  Still play 5 across midfield, but Rose could have given cover on the left with Young. Put Kane completely up front and have Ali supporting him.

  Oh well, there's always another World Cup in 4 years! :)
