  Just a Q : you mentioned the right speed - may I ask the only Q which pops-up in my mind ... and that is what is the right speed?

  I probably should have used the word "power" instead of speed. Basically, since green speeds vary, the power/speed of the putt must vary. Just use the power you'd normally use for whatever the green speed is you're playing.

  You'll also notice I'm using avatar movements instead of the putter pal. Each movement is a specific power/feet increment. The putter pal has built in VEM and so I disable it when I need to do a spin and ding.

  I never use the putter pal nor the shot pal.

  Size matters I think.  Hole VEM shrinks when confronted with a proper business sized one.  It's then a case of course of what you do with your putter, and so not just size (I always say).

  Spinning is important but varying the spin orbits causes a jet lag effect on the VEM.  Combing this with equipment size the hole will seem gaping wide often - You then know the VEM is under control and the hole, thus, ready to receive.
