    RenoRick:

Do you have use something like Revo Uninstaller?  What's the best way to actually uninstall Flash?  Thanks.

As Borntobesting already said, you can install a browser that already has ADBlock and Flash on it.

If you uninstall flash using any uninstaller, you are taking from a browser that does not have flash installed. I have an older version of Maxthon, that has an older version of flash

No. What you have to do is go to your Windows folder. Windows/syswow64/macromed/flash.

Once there find the file FlashUtil32_30_0_0_113_pepper. Run the file and it will uninstall flash if you have pepper flash.

or find the file FlashUtil32_30_0_0_113_Plugin if your flash is not pepper flash. Which ever version you have you must use the FlashUtil32 file that is in the Flash folder to uninstall flash.

Why are you suggesting uninstalling flash in a different way to Adobe's recommended method?

I'm not sure why b2b is promoting his method, unless he knows something we're not aware of.

I thought I was telling him Adobe's recommended way, I always thought you had to use the same installer/uninstaller that you installed it with, I was just telling him where that file is on my PC. Maybe in my old age I don't explain things as well as should. After all I am only 6 days from 72.

No worries Joe. Although I would say it was slightly easier to download Adobe's uninstaller and follow their instructions, than it is to rummage about in our PC's file system to find a single file and run it. We all know how easy/hard it is to lose/find a file on a PC.

Doing good for 72, when I'm there I shall probably just be staring blankly at the wall. ; )
