  just finished my hustle with win1soon...good match with good quality shots (both -7 for front 9)...it was to and fro the whole way and was destined to go up the last..

   

  i edged him out, just!! I win 1up...great match jason

  Janhv and I had our match today.  The front 9 was quite bad for both of us.  I think i was 2 under and Jan 3 under.  Then on the back 9 Jan turned it on a little bit and i continued on my sloppy ways.  It was awful for me and the worst match i have played in a while.

  So Jan, was 4 up after 14 and i was all but sunk.  4down with 4 to go.  We were both within 8 ft on 15.  I had to sink mine to have a chance and i lipped out...putt was behind the hole and it started trickling back and into the hole!!!  Never seen that before!  Jan inevitably just missed his bird.

  After that the tides just seemed to have turned.  Jan missed par on 16 and then on 17, I sunk a 17footer (my first putt that was longer than 8 ft).  18, Jan just missed bird after a good bunker approach and sunk a clutch 13 foot slider to tie the match.

  Then i won on the 2nd extra hole!  Thanks for the match Jan.  A pleasure to play against and Im sorry it had to go like that!  Cheers

  just lost my match against Sunshinewilly after 2 extra holes. I was driving poorly but willy had an frezing cold putter, that made me go up 4 in the game anyway. Then on #15 my luck turned after we both had  two very good shot on green,,, willy`s put lipped out from below the hole but the ball came back and in it goes. I missed it.From there on it pretty much was willys game, i could se that he is a good player when his putter is not brrr cold.Nice game Sunshinewilly, you are a gentleman and fun to play with.

  Just had my match against overtheedge and was fortunate to pull it out 1 up.  It was a very close match start to finish.  It came down to OTE's birdie putt on 18 that he just missed.  Fun match though and I'm sure we'll play again.

  I just finished my single most exciting match play comp against an outstanding competitor and friend Rendogg03.

  Here is some very brief coverage. RD went 2UP after 4. We went AS after 8. RD was 1UP after 10. He held tight to a 2UP after 15. I win 16. So, going into 18 RD is holding 1UP. I put my approach shot 7 ft from the pin trying hard to push the match to extra holes only to leave a wicked downhill – hard break left putt to miss for bird and lose the match 1UP to a GREAT competitor and friend Rendogg. Wow! I had a lot of fun in this match.

  Thank you so much RD for a very exciting match, finish and great conversation. I don’t usually play to many match play comps because of my dedication to running our country club. But this was 1 match that gives me a desire to play more MP competition.

  A special thanks to Dan for taking the time and effort to organize this exciting event. Good luck to my friend RD as you battle through the ranks playing against some of the best players in WGT. Also, good luck to everyone and have fun my friends. A friend in the community, Jeff

  Jeff, I enjoyed the match as much as you did!  That down to the wire competition is priceless and I had a great time battling against you.  Looking forward to playing with you again.

  Just lost my first round match to Tiffer67. The man can putt!

  Chris won 2 up after my spirit was broken (as well as my putter...). He played too good and sank the putts when needed, alas my putter was cold today. His iron play was exceptional as well, I hit it from 200 + on #10 to 6 foot and he casually knocks it to 2ft. He misses fairway dead on #11 so I casually knock it dead into the bunker lol.I had putts that should have been made on #13 and #14 but missed.

  The match finished with me hitting it close on #16,17 and 18 , while Chris "casually" rolls them in for birds from 15 foot, 23 foot and again 23 foot on the last.

  Good game Chris, nice to meet you.... stick that putter.......... lol.

  Just finished a tense but enjoyable match with Broohar. A match that illustrated the value of a good putter on the day. The last 3 holes Broohar knocked it in closer but I was fortunate enough to make my putts for birdie and edge the game 2up. 

  Really enjoyed the game Mick, even the crazy mistakes, lol. Hope we play again soon.
