Thanks for the game Dem, you played great, I would have really liked to have played you even (even being without WGT's intervention) and seen which of us could win.

Dem eluded to some odd results I was having, I had 3 significant devs on the front 9 the worst being a 15 yard dev against the wind on 1 into 50 rough from a 1 pixel miss, funny bit was I missed the ding with the wind and the ball went the other way! It was a miracle i was only 3 down at the turn as Dem was -7. On 10 with a 10mph at 9pm I missed the ding by 1 pixel and watched a 28 yard dev way, way right against the wind into 50 rough, then on 14 a dinged drive, aimed center right of fairway, with a 10mph at 9pm deviated right 20 yards against the wind into, you guessed it, 50 rough. WGT, you played a shocker today, the sort of round that makes guys ask if they are wasting their time here.

Dem was a gentleman throughout, he understood what was going on and felt the pain, with his flying start he would probably have won for sure as he played great!

    Thanks Dem

    Monty

Good game with Frealzu. I didnt have a good start missing a 4 footer for birdie on the first, But managed to get my nose in front by the turn. Birdied the 15th for 3 up but Frealzu had to forfeit for work committments. It was'nt his day for putting and I capitalised on it.

Ta for the game mate !

JCOlson defeats geordieles 3&2 in the first round. Sorry for the delay as we both had some scheduling issues. Geordieles is a good guy and look forward to working with him during the wgt Ryder Cup. His putter was his achilles heel today. He just couldn't get anything to drop, so I walked away with the win.

In a possible Ryder Cup preview on Congressional, JCOlson defeats Villadeoro 3 & 2.

It was kind of an odd match. We alternated birdies at one and two, both birdied three, then both bogeyed 4 keeping the match AS.  I took a 1up lead into 9 and for the 2nd time had wgt issues and timed out for a 1 stroke penalty. Villa then made a birdie from over 30 ft to go AS going into the back. We both lipped out on 10 and then i strung some birdies together over the next several holes to take command of the match.

Villa had some trouble on the short to midrange putts, but rolled and chipped in several bombs. It was a competitive and good match as usual with Villa. Thanks again and good luck in the Ryder Cup!

Just finished the match against dud_doodle, i won 3/2 after loosing first and second after missing some short putts.

i got hot makin a bird at 5 and then made six straight ones to go 1up after 10, we both pared 11 while i was flirting with the water after a lateclick, made birds on 12-16 to win by 3up.

Thanks Dud, nice match and i did not think my putter was going to save me after the first two holes.

It was funny, I didn't realize you had birdied 9 out of 10 holes until you mentioned it on 15. All I knew was I wasn't playing my best and it was hurting me big time :). Congrats on the win, that was some great play to really turn the match in your favor. Making birdie on 11 out of 12 holes certainly will win pretty much every time.

Just finished up 2nd round match with Rendogg, we both made the low light reels of sports center. Neither of us brought our A games, but wasn't our F games either. I had a nice eagle on 6 which was probably the highlight of my game. Andy couldn't get putts to drop, he had 3 putts that were ridiculously close to falling but just stayed out. I ended up winning 3&1, most likely 2&1 but Andy conceded my birdie putt on 17 after he missed his. Super enjoyable Andy, let's do it again soon!
