PGABound just started a 64 person match play tourney. Its called Hustle on a budget...
I just made a suggestion that instead of having a 64 player tournament for credits we do this as a tournament for x sleeves of balls to the winner. That way we avoid the WGT rake and those of us in states who can't do MPC can play. The balls can be predetermined so that the player gets what they want.

Also, I don't think you need to do 964 players if there isn't a lot of demand. Maybe on 32 or 16 would work just fine.

Yes but that costs 500 credits per match and many of us either don't want to or can't afford that. And as Tarheeels brought up many are in states that prohibit playing skill based games online that you have to pay to play.
