  Let's keep in mind that best ball and scramble aren't the same thing.  Best ball would be the best score on each hole from the 2 man team.  The scramble format is selecting the best shots and playing forward.  I would think that would not be easy to set up.

  dont best ball mean the better of the two shots made from a 2 man team is played

  I'd be OK with a 2 man BB, but IMHO, a 4 man BB would be a disaster. It's hard enough to finish a 2 man Alt Shot with out somebody disconnecting.  Could you imagine trying to finish a game with 8 players participating?

  If they do introduce best ball I would like to see them have 2 options of play. 1 normal best ball where you chose your teams best ball as normally. But I would also like to see best ball bloodford. In that format your opponents chose which ball you get to play so in essence it would be worse ball. That format makes makes for some interesting matches. 

  My other thought would be stroke play tournaments with either 2 or 4 man teams playing stroke play best ball. I'm not sure if it would work here the way WGT is set up for tournament entries. I would be fun it it could work.

  Absolutly  look what alt shot has done for the social interactions. Adding anything like that would be a hugh boost..I would also add a skins game for the betting states.

  You definitely got my support for this. I always like scrambles and best ball tournaments in real golf. So it would be also great fun here.
