It could be embarrassing but, what a ride.

I had the honor and the pleasure of being part of one of the most beautiful virtual golf games in the world and a community that stands out for charisma, altruism, generosity, share and challenging.

I am a WGTer for almost 7 years and I decided, with regret and a veil of sorrow, to abandon all those who in recent years have known me, from players to staff but above all to permanently abandon the WGT game client. I realized that I lost interest and enthusiasm but this is my problem, it did not depend on anything here and this because I have no regrets (perhaps the only one was to have not reach the Tour Champion tier).

Who could have regrets or pathetic whinings after 7 years and these stats.

I spent online over 2500 consecutive days playing, over 20,000 ranked rounds (one better than the other) and an infinite amount of friends that I hope to find here if I ever had to go back just to write a few greetings.

I will continue to carve up this page of my Internet life until the same date that 7 years ago led me to sign up, one shot, one man. Meanwhile I thank everyone, indistinctly and in every corner of the globe, I thank all the boys of the staff but especially all those champions that I met and that gave me the strength to improve myself to reach high levels with perseverance and integrity.

I've never been a real winner but at every game I was aiming for victory, that's why I do not believe in "the important thing is to participate" theory, and that's why I'm leaving.

See you around crowd, best of luck for your life attempts.

    David

PS. I just want to shere one last thing. The video I'm posting represents all that WGT has been for me, ever since I first saw it. As long as it was possible I used it as "soundtrack" for my WGT profile page, just to share, I love this video and I loved being here, and just like the passion of this video I spent here my free hours.

Sir .   I have had the pleasure of a game or two with you . Thank you .

I also had the same thing happen to me at the 7 year mark . I play less but still stop in from time to time just to see who and what .

My best to you and please remember that the door will always be open if you ever want to drop in and just say hi .

Davide, you are one of the truly good folks on WGT, so it is sad to see you go.

Nothing wrong with trying to win, but to me, I would accept a loss playing with good friends and company over winning against a miserable so and so.......just saying

As many have said, never be shy to come back my friend.
