Good idea, but the implementation needs work.  On a chip or pitch the flagstick is appearing and dissapearing every time I touch the swing meter, which is distracting to say the least.  The swing meter is not part of the green, so adjusting it should not affect the pin status.  I think clicking the green is too broad for changing the pin status.  Maybe a small area around the cup, but not if you are clicking the aim/distance adjustment.  It seems to be working pretty good for putting.

why not just have a button to hide/unhide flagstick instead of having to click the flagstick/green?

.... or a keyboard shortcut, like, hit the F key on your keyboard to remove/replace flag!

4 years later, and this is still not implemented. Will it ever be? A key binding that is.

    HuH!

How do I remove the flagstick?

Simply click on the Flagstick icon in the upper right hand corner of the game screen at any time to remove and replace the flagstick. When the flagstick has been removed a red slash will be displayed over the icon.

I think HD was after a keyboard shortcut Zio which, as AFAIK, there isn't one. But clicking the flag icon, as you pointed out, isn't exactly troublesome is it.
