  Cheers Jim. Yeah i did offer forfeit as well but suggested better ball seems we were there and it was fun. Hard for me v those two but doesn`t bother me ;-)

  Not bad idea if only one can play i suppose.

  DodgyPutter and kersh1976 defeated Lisa03 and TheAceFactor in a 9-hole Alternate Shot game on CHAMBERS BAY.

  I can't remember if it was the fourth or fifth extra hole but we were lucky, their putt shaved the hole and ours fell in.

  It was a tight game throughout and a lot of fun, and I hope and think I'd have still said that if the putts had fallen differently at the last hole.

  It was a very good match and for a lightweight like me very nerve-jangling. Fortunately, my P hit some great iron shots to keep us in the game and like he said we were a shaved hole from still probably playing, it was that close.

  Ty to our opponents, my partner and to Ranger for setting everything up.

  Great match today.  George and kajday vs Bonzo and Spankee

  Fun round in tough conditions.  A gentlemen's game played like gentlemen.

  Some absolutely great Matches this weekend, the Bracket rounds are feeling in very nicely! I was able to jump in on a couple of them that were being Twitched and really enjoyed seeing these excellent players having a great time!

  Bracket is updated through this Evening, thank you to all of you that are communicating with each other, to get these matches played!

  And I want to thank all of you that are participating and enjoying the Event!

  Could this be added as a problem resolution option/rule? Only if all three players agree? We have at least one player in our club in this situation, I think. I can think of reasons why a team of two would rather not play a very talented team of one in Better Ball. In some cases it could actually hurt the chances of the team of two, even played as  Better Ball, because their opponent would be hitting every shot, rather than every other one.
