The match was halved. Both teams played really well but also left a few out there. There was some great putting done by Maoriand1 and Andivo. They fought back well after going down early. Great game guys, and good luck in the final round
Maoriand1 and Andivo putted masterfully and made a great comeback. I accidentally conceded a long, tough putt on #6 and they had the sportsmanship to concede a putt to us in return ... class acts! My partner played great, shame I putted so poorly today.
It was really a beautiful, hard-fought match!!!
The Americans have started a lot better than us (that we could not calibrate well, I do not know for any reason, the strength in the approaches)
I think if Young46 does not have that incident at # 6, going 3Up would most likely also win the game.
Actually we were very lucky on some difficult putts, and this allowed us to resume our opponents and eventually equalize the game.
An emblematic hole in the whole match was # 17, both couples looked for the eagle, but it became an "orror" hole and in the end we both came out with only par.
