We start each match as equals in match play but remember .
Look into their eyes, shake their hand, pat their back, and wish them luck, but be thinking, - I am going to bury you.
We play so often against our friends , I think it adds something to the game, you know, because people sometimes miss it and sometimes they don’t have it and they want it, and when they have it, they don’t want it. It’s kind of very strange how that goes.
I’ve missed more than 9000 shots in my wgt career. I’ve lost almost 300 games. 26 times I’ve been trusted to take the game-winning shot and missed. I’ve failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed.
I start early and I stay late, day after day, year after year. It took me 8 years and 114 days to become an overnight success.
I figure practice puts your brains in your muscles.
I think the hard part is over. Now it’s time for us to play.
