    Wontonamo:
its already tough enough for simon to play at midnight and me at 9.30am without knowing when this downtime is.

If Simon's playing at midnight...you'll be ok.

    That's no-where near a downtime in Europe.

You'll be fine Tom. Midnight in Germany is nowhere near the usual downtime start. Best of luck to you both.

    WGTChampion:

    Hello friends!

We're planning on holding a downtime on Thursday night so we'll be pushing the Clash to begin on Friday morning shortly following the downtime.

If anything changes, or the downtime is moved this may further delay or possibly cancel the Clash. I'll update here if our plans change.

I agree, 24 hours would be plenty of time. Would also love to see them Friday-Saturday or even better Saturday-Sunday. Too difficult to play when trying to work on Thursday and Friday!

+1....I took a days leave from work so I could play the clashes......bummed

You are bummed? I hear you. I bought a bag of rice and a loaf of bread along with a city bus pass so I don't have to put gas in my car this week. Had all my grocery and gas money budgeted for buying passes, passes and more passes. Now I'm eating pilaf sammies with no clash to play. It's not fair.

In the past, when clashs were cancelled, wgt, ran them the following week. I've already contacted my kids, and grandkids, to inform them that dinner next Thursday would be delayed til Saturday. Upside is, it gives us more time to prepare for it. Thanks wgt!!!!!

    Wontonamo:

is there a scheduled time for this downtime? i only ask because tomorrow friday morning 9.30am for me in adelaide, australia i have a ryder cup match to play against birchi and we had this scheduled a week ago.

im terrible with international times so it would help if we know this time so we can reschedule the match or whatnot if the downtime is during the game.

its already tough enough for simon to play at midnight and me at 9.30am without knowing when this downtime is.

The longest ones go from 10pm to 2am Pacific. We probably won't need the full time and I personally expect the game to be back online before 2am.

Also the clash, I believe, will be scheduled to start at 2am.

lol. When we were chatting about delaying it initially someone floated the idea to push it a week to which I said "Absolutely not". Now, they don't listen to be so much, but I think it would be real stupid to run it through the holiday and I think they agree.

Anyway, it's currently scheduled to start Friday.

So, I’m guessing it should start at 5am Eastern time Friday morning correct?  Thanks for the heads up!,,
