It's a long haul but some lower level players need the time to understand the game better.

. ... or buy level-up boosts for as long as they can.

No doubt a couple of lower level players in my place will think drat...................Once over it L100/3 is a long way off, but as said the 90s are not what they were when 880xp was it.

Risk for WGT as at least it sold custom courses and got people playing.  Maybe someone just felt they genuinely need to try something different for revenue, and someone said how about the quality of play as a way to sell balls V just smoke up the rear for levels????

Anyone new is looking at one almighty scruffy mess with all this levels lark, until it is explained it's smoke up the rear beyond sensibly achievable goals.

I wish this place well still but it has created a heap of stuff to sort if there is a goal to go past Flash, PC wise anyway.....

As for refunds..................? Loophole enabling exploitation of a glitch discontinued.....Not part of the sales pitch

    Few less trophies won't hurt:)

May be time to sweeten those membership levels.  Re-negotiate licenses to offer x# free rounds per month at Cabo and Whistler?  40cr/9holes is about the same as 37cr/passes.

    +1

Here is my problem with premier.  The free access to Cabo and Whistler is great, BUT I can't play it with anyone.  If I could invite someone for match or stroke play, then we are talking.

More generally, as I have posted elsewhere in other forums, they should buy out the other company and make those courses free.  That would keep most of us busy for a while and less complaining about lack of new courses.

Again, they have taken away any reason for people to purchase the premier (or plus) membership.

Have they though?  Sure, you get less XP than last week but still more than without it so it does what it says on the tin, gives you double XP.

The green fees are still waived for PC users, the daily scratcher (whatever the hell that is, sounds like an STD) is still there for mobile users.

People bought it for more XP and the free extras.  They're still there.

Damn, the whole thread has become bold now?

    2questions:

    WGTChampion:
XP exploit and the superpass exploit

    What...?

    Is "...the superpass exploit"...?

    - Ty (Q)

This was a bug that allowed clubs to get massive amounts of points during a clash.

It was possible to use a superpass during a none clash round to earn points for the clash.

    It's been fixed now.

I think WGT's hands are a bit tied where Cabo and Whistler are concerned.
Yup, that's why I said, "re-negotiate the licenses."

    Sorry, missed that.

It seems there may be some play in the contact though.  I never checked into what Premier Membership got you until now.  No green fees for Premier Members amounts to membership of those courses, exactly what I wanted.  Just without the option to invite friends for a reduced fee.

In a thread full of people saying they'll drop their Premier Membership it suddenly became more attractive to me........

Yes, they have made it meaningless now.  I have close to 79 million xp.  Why would I choose to pay $180 to get a few hundred more xp per round when I use a CC pass....or extra CC passes for that matter?

This is why I mentioned that WGT made a big business mistake that will cost them many thousands of dollars.

I don't mind that much, as I mentioned, as they just saved me a ton of money.  I'm just very surprised, as they are a business and therefore are in the business to make money.

What I want to know (and still don't have a response from WGTChamp or member services) is whether they will refund me (pro-rated is fine) my $180 premier membership that has now become worthless to me.

I can't imagine you paid $180.00 for your pass. I know I didn't. I paid with the video credits and It is probably the same way you paid for yours, or with winnings from tournaments. So IMHO you are owed nothing.

If you don't mind me asking, why did you buy Premier Membership?  You may be at the level cap and certainly well beyond anything you'll need for new gear.  Your club is level 21, beyond that there is very little, if any, real benefit.

The only thing I can think of is the extra passes during a clash but you still get those and $180 a year would buy nearly 500 passes which would help you in a clash.

Sorry if I'm missing a point here, I'm just not seeing what the glitch was doing for you that warranted buying Premier.
