    Nancy1959:
What I want to know (and still don't have a response from WGTChamp or member services) is whether they will refund me (pro-rated is fine) my $180 premier membership that has now become worthless to me.

Again, as you obviously missed my last post directed at you...

but please enlighten me as to why you feel WGT should refund your money? Is the Premier Memberships NOT what it was advertised as?

    Don

I'm not so sure Don, Dennis never made us laugh at someone else's expense.

Nancy has remained civil and courteous, despite clearly being well pee'd off at what has happened.

Personally, I don't think Dennis would have gone there.

Perhaps you are correct my friend.

I just fail to see the reasoning behind this demand of refunding money. I keep seeing the words "worthless to me" being used. With those words in mind, perhaps some light can be said on what exactly is the VALUE of 79 million XP's? Other than raising the level of a country club, what more is there?

Being well pee'd off at what has happened?        Uhhhhh..... WGT  correcting a programming flaw is something to be "well pee'd off" about?

Remaining civil and courteous?      Uhhhhhh...such as demanding a refund for a purchased product that does EXACTLY as advertised?

Laughing at someone else's expense?    Appears  the product was advertised, and operates as intended...........      Now, if WGT had "removed" that product from a members inventory without cause..... I could see the point...    However, in this instance, a member purchased and received a product that  continues to operate as advertised.  They got exactly what they paid for...............

Correct me if I am wrong......  but I can find NO indicated benefit that says:    "Perfect for exploiting WGT programming errors and glitch's"........

Seems to me the bigger issue is coming up with a more realistic system of rewarding players for accomplishing things. It took me a year to go from Tour Legend to Champion for which I received 300 credits. Sat down the other night and did a 15 minute survey and received 420 credits. Guess I need to spend more time working on surveys than my game

Lucky, I'm as mystified as anyone as to why a L200 player should be so keen to have the bug left in place and pay 18,000 credits for Premier Membership to boost the XP given by it.

I also agree that the Premier Membership still does what it was sold as doing and don't think a refund is likely or justified.

Maybe I'm having a sensitive day but I really don't think Dennis would have made a post like that.  Hell, I've posted loads of massively insulting stuff so have no moral leg to stand on really.

To me it just wasn't in good taste, I probably should have kept my gob keyboard shut though.

No offence to you was intended.  I think we're actually very much on the same page when it comes to this bug and it's removal.
