There really isn't a "best player" on WGT.  Many people can teach you how to play in many ways.  More experience people (i.e. masters+) would might overcomplicate it but teach you in a very good way.

But what am I to say?  I'm only an Amateur.  I'd say friends are the best, since you most likely share more qualities and can relate to each more than somebody who isn't your friend.

I have learned the most picking up in games what I can from the variety of players that will help you

I looking for someone with skype and or team viewer to help me aim my shots properly

I don't think there is a 'Best Player' at any one time..There is the Elite Group of players that we know of, they are all very very good :)

Just ask a question that you would like to know the answer to in the forums and you should be able to get very good help. The silliest question can be be the goods ones.

A good way of learning the game is to play all the Multi-Player Games and just watch the others play. Read all the Tips in the Forums... Some excellent posts in there.

    Cheers

Exactly what this man said, whether an amateur or otherwise.

Well MALD39, in my opinion just sit down and play the game. Practice, practice, and practice. Everyone here has their own style of play and does things a little differently. So sit down read the faqs section. Keep up in the forums because you never know when somebody will post a question that you may have. So you may not even need to ask something because it may already have been answered.

Now as far as the game itself. Learn the courses inside and out. Learn what your clubs can do and not do. Also learn what shot type to use in different situations and learn to use different kinds of spin on the ball. Now if you do those things then chances are is that you will become a pretty good player. And if there is a course or more specific a hole that you just can't figure out how to play then post your question in the forums and I guarantee somebody will have an answer for you.

So do those things and play match play games, like others have said in the above posts, with people that are better than you. Because you can learn so much from people that are better than you. Especially when first starting out. Hope this helps you a little bit. And if you have any other questions then feel free to post away or look me up and I would be happy to help ya. Oh and by the way I'm by no means an "elite" player but i have been here for a little over a year and I do know a little bit so I would be more than happy to help. Good luck to you in your exciting, fun, and at times very frustrating journey.

From the movie about Bobby Jones: A professional plays for the money and and amateur plays golf for the love of the game. I am an amateur forever.

First off,if you wanna make the big leagues you have to put in the time.Second.you are going to have to invest in some clubs.I realize some people on here hate spending money but if you want to compete with the best, you're gonna need good equipment.3rd,if you play with better players, you will witness some of the shots it takes to shoot low.(Eye hand coordination helps too)For me personally,I really concentrated on metal notes around the greens.Who cares if you hit a 400yrd drive if all you can do is 3 putt right?Putting=Scoring.Get a decent putter! And lastly. Most of the great players are always more than willing to give advise. My 2 cents.
