Just finished one of the toughest, most fun matches I've played in a long time.
No scorecard because I played from work ( where almost everything is disabled on these PC's), but I get the tough win over Wesdogg75 .. 1up.
We played the back 9 @ Bethpage ... Wes took the early lead on 10, hitting his 2nd short & left of the hole ..definitely a better putt than i had from the right and on the back edge. We halved the next 3 holes, and I managed to square it up on 14. The 15th hole we both hit textbook 2nd shots ( little long & left) his went to one side, mine just grazed the other side of the hole ... halved with birds. 2 lipouts on 16. On 17, we were a little in between clubs with a 9mph tailwind ... Wes went about 20 feet long, and i pulled my tee shot short & left into the rough, just off the green. Chip in birdie for me to go 1up, when wes's putt just slid past. Pars for both on 18.
Wes .. that was FUN ...Took my best back 9 since i moved to legend to pullt that one out. It was definintley one of those matches where it's too bad that someone has to lose.
