Since you're heard his point, why not target the right group of players? As I asked you to share with us ( those players that have been playing 2 or 3 years and are stuck on TP, M, and TM because of their putting and /or their short game)
You stated that you made Champion with a Starter putter, I can't speak for others but I have bought several different putters and I just lip out, come up short, or hit it a little too hard and it hits the cup and goes left or right but not in.
Yes, I know to get the lower scores you've got to land closer to the pin for a better chance for a birdie. But even when your 1st putt gets you within that 10 foot range and you still miss, frustration sets in because of the 2nd miss and after you 3 putt and you're 2 over on the 1st hole. Where does your mind go? How do you handle that? Do you keep on playing and maybe make par on the next hole or even birdie before your next double bogey, then you're 3 over and off the tee on a par 5 you land in a sand trap. Help me MGB I'm about to loose it. What's your mind set? Then maybe that's never happened to you. Its happened to me and I finished the 9 holes 4 to 6 over and feel lucky.
Or have you ever spent a day at the beach? Every shot you hit finds the sand, and RSG can hand you your lunch on days like that. MGB, what would do? Help a Brother out.
IRL, I've thrown Drivers into lakes, broken shafts on Irons and Wedges, but my respect for electricty, I haven't put a chair into my monitor, thought about it, but haven't done it yet.
