Hello all
Well down to the last four teams in the Cup and the Plate.
Some really close matches this round and a few went down to the very last match,
Thanks to the losing quarter finalists including our A team the chickens, you played great but on the day the junkies were just a little better or luckier lol,
We have a cracking semi-final in the Cup,
Paragon 1 take on their second team, its sure to be a lot of and banter between them,
Wooden Tee entertain the junkies with a few ex Wooden tees taking on the old mates,a few old scores to settle I’m sure lol,
East coast 2 take on Paragon 4, 3 teams from the same club making the semi-finals well done Paragon.
The Diablo’s go against the trans pirates, im not playing this one because I hate Merion and would love to see it blown up so im leaving it to the lads to get me to St Andrews my home lol.

I hate this course because I have never been able to
tame it, elevated greens and sloping fairways and such tough pin positions make
this a truly great risk and reward course, an errant shot can leave you off the
green facing a battle to even pitch close, really tough greens and if in the
wrong place facing a bogey. You have to be patient on this course and even one
chance can win you the match.
RULES
No handicaps in
the knockout stages which will please some players,
Each match will
be played to a win or lose even with sudden death,
Each match will
have a 2 week timeline to complete
Any matches not
completed on time will be looked at by the panel and a decision made on the
result depending on evidence supplied,
Any players
refusing to play will forfeit their match,
Once a match
been played the result will stand so it’s up to all players to check the
opponents tier before start of play,
I would suggest a
90sec shot clock with maximum timeouts, there’s no panic to get the game played
and have a chat in-between,
if both players
agree they can have 60 or 45 that would be their choice,
No focus boosts
will be allowed during matches. Use of this tool will lead to a
disqualification
Players please
when posting results, I would like group number, teams and players please and a
short post of the match,
Any team
members giving advice on any shots/putts to another player on any chat forum
and found out, the player and the adviser will be disqualified from the rest of
the comp.

forum busy but no negative comments from anyone, if you have problem contact
your captain first,
