  THanks for the game Paolo (liero78).  VEry strong comeback at the end, but I just managed to hold on. Great game played in a great spirit which is what I play this for. Well done all.

  alph51 wins 4 and 3

  As is often the case Merion is the real winner. It was a pleasure to play Greg and chat with him on his Discord channel. I was able to hit my approaches close enough to have reasonable putts on Merion's unforgiving greens. Greg had a number of good putts that just slid by the hole or in one case amazingly stopped short on the lip. I built a big early lead and Greg started to pick up towards the end winning 2 of the last 3 holes with birdies. I was able to hang on for the win on 15 after Greg's pitch from just of the green hit the pin but did not fall in.

  Thanks for the game Greg, it was a pleasure to meet and play with you!

  Plate Semifinal: Paragon 4 vs. East Coast 2

  159 JPZippi vs. 237 bonhoeffe

  JPZippi wins 6 and 5

  Played unusually well on Front 9. Set up my shots very well and gained a large lead. 5 up thru 9. Won Hole #10 to get to 6 up. Player "bonhoeffe" (Pete) won Hole #11. Halved Hole #12 and won it on Hole #13. 

  I thank Pete for working things out on scheduling!

  just a quick update with 1 week to go in the semi finals

  CUP

  junkies need 1 win from 4 matches to knock out the reigning champs wooden tee,

  paragon 1 and paragon 2 tied at 3 wins each,this one really close between clubmates,

  PLATE

  east coast need 1 win to say goodbye to paragon 4 with 3 left,

  diablos hold a slender 1 win over the trans pirates but still 4 matches to play,

  some great matches played already and any live games please lets share them so we can all join in the fun,

  bit early to send teams over yet captains but bear it in mind please.

  lets get all these games played win or lose

  An enjoyable game with Sin that swung several times. I was 2 up early on before Sin made great birdies on 5 & 6 to level it up. Sin went 1 up on the 10th. I won 13 & 14 to go 1 up. Sin then won 15 & 16 to go 1 up. I was then fortunate to hole 2 longish putts for birdies on 17 & 18 to win 1 up.

  Jediknight1976 (HDJ) beats Sinisavrc1 (WT) 1 up.

  Sounds like a great match. It's what virtual golf likes to see.

  Live streaming makes it more fun.

  I hope we get to using uneven lies next year in at least one round.
